Professor Harry Poulos

Rocscience is proud to announce the recipient of the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Medal, Dr. Harry Poulos.

Dr. Poulos is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Sydney and a Senior Consultant with Tetra Tech Coffey in Sydney, Australia. He is renowned for his groundbreaking work in geotechnical engineering, highlighted by prestigious lectures such as the 1989 Rankine Lecture, the 2004 Terzaghi Lecture, and the 2009 Terzaghi Oration.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Poulos has contributed to numerous landmark projects worldwide, including the iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai. His outstanding achievements have been recognized with numerous accolades, highlighting his exceptional contributions to engineering.
