Our story began in 1987, as part the Rock Engineering Group at the University of Toronto. Originally founded in response to the need for analytical, design, and visualization tools in mining and civil engineering, Rocscience has since become a global leader in the field of geomechanics software.

Recognizing the increasing global demand for these solutions, Rocscience was established as an independent entity in 1996. To this date, our mission remains consistent- to develop geotechnical software that equips civil and mining engineers to overcome daily challenges while we continue to evolve and expand.
